My current favorite is the Police. This is a geat folder that a lot of people have not seen. It does not have the saw blade that comes with the RES, but this makes it easier to keep in your pocket. It still has the extremely sharp colbalt steel blade and the rescue blade is incredible. Extrema Ratio designed this knife for law enforcement, but it is an all around good knife for outdoor use, search and rescue and other utlity uses. It holds its edge well and it just feels solid.
The Police is a great knife to use, not just collect.
Hey, you really hide your blogsite well, I never would have found it except that a guy at work told me about it. You should get the word out somehow maybe get some of the other knife blogs to link or something. Anyway I have the Fulcrum Bayonet and it is the toughest knife I have ever known of, I collect a lot of knifes and the others don't hold a candle to the fulcrum. I don't have the rifle that it fits and I don't need one, but this knife and sheath are very well made and I would not be found without this knife if I could help it. It goes every where I go and it does all that is asked of it. I understand that the prices are going up in January, is this true, if so why. Why is the website Italianblade.com and not something related to Extrema Ratio like the blog and is Exxcess.info the only place to buy these knives. I would certainly like a response to my questions as I would like to purchase other knives and want the best deal possible.

Yes, Extrema Ratio prices are going up in January 2007. The materials prices are increasing and there are some knives that are going to be collectors items because they are being replaced. But also cost of shipping and getting the knves into North America is also increasing. But if you have one, you know it is worth every penney.
www.italianblade.com is mostly a site where dealers can set up accounts and get their knives to sell, but it is a great resource for collectors, knife enthusiast and others because it gives them the retail prices, photos of the products and lots of information on every knife. www.exxcess.info is one of the largest dealers for extrema ratio knives, but there are others like Nancy at www.xtremeknives.com, Gold Rush Trading Company, Cherokee Outfitters, etc.. We will get Italianblade.com to get updated on its links to dealers.
The Fulcrum Bayonet is an incredible knife. Tactical Knife described it as the "Best Bayonet Ever." It is solid, you feel like you are handling pure steel formed to cut through the hardest materials. Extrema made sure this was one nasty knife to put on the end of your rifle or carry with you into back country. I wished more people could handle one of these beauties.
Lastly, edgeguy in order to get the best deal possible, buy your knives before January 2007, because prices are going up.
Nobody talks about the Shrapnel. Don't you guys know anything!! The Shrapnel is a great knife.
Certainly, we do not want to ignore the Shrapnel. Everyone involved with this glob has one. The Shrapnel is a solid weapon that performs exactly as it is supposed to. It is a knive that easily fits in a bug out bag, or in a survival kit. It goes everywhere with me. The Shrapnel is one of the finest short fixed blades ever made and those who own them know exactly what I am talking about. They are explosive.
I am a proud owner of Col. Moschin knife and it satisfies all my needs. I did not have a chance to use any other knives by the company.
